| For your custom knife purchase. What the heck get more than one. |
My fascination with knives goes back to my childhood. I was given my first
knife when I was six years old and I still have it. I have been a full time Knife
Maker for 5 years now. Demand for my knives has grown exponentially each
year. I have studied the taper tang design and enjoy making knives in that
style. However I do not limit myself to just fixed blades, I make folders also. I
have only begun to scratch the surface of ideas rolling around in my head. I
have a wife, daughter, and 3 sons, all of which are involved in the business at
different levels. I use the stock removal method from profiling to final grind.
All heat treating is done in my shop. All fittings (guards, bolsters, liners etc.)
are handmade by me. I also make all sheaths and each of my knives comes
with a sheath. In 2009, I was fortunate enough to have 3 of my knives
(Apache Fire, Venom, and Snake) featured on Spike Tv's Deadliest Warrior
Episode 1 Apache vs. Gladiator in the skilled hands of Snake Jason Blocker.
For the past couple of years we have been attending mostly gun shows in
our home state of Texas. Beginning in 2010 we will be traveling and attending
several of the larger knife shows around the country. Also coming in 2010
will be our new shop complete with showroom, once completed we will be
available for shop visits for those interested in seeing where the knives are
made.
